Saying he telegrammed to [George] Engles the first two programs and encloses with this letter the other programs [present] for his guest appearances in New York, saying where the various works can be bought, describing the enthusiasm with which he has been greeted in Russia, etc; in the telegram, signed "Scotson," Klemperer accepts the ten-week [position as guest conductor] at $12,000.
